Cochin University of Science and Technology has extended its registration date to CUSAT CAT 2025 for UG and PG admission. Now candidates can fill up their registration till 30 March 2025 (expected) without any penalty. If somehow any candidate fails to apply for the exam then they can register himself for CUSAT CAT 2024 with a penalty. CUSAT offers admission to MBA courses with low fees. The main motive of this organization is to uplift the economically weaker section of students with some amazing talent in their studies. Along with the low fees, several scholarships are also provided to eligible students for study.

Eligibility Criteria for CUSAT CAT For MBA Admission
A graduation degree with a minimum of 50% marks in any stream.
Students certified as related to NCL (Non-Creamy Layer ) of Kerala state (SEBC Candidates) are eligible for 5% relaxation in the requirement of minimum qualifying marks.
All the candidates who come from Kerala scheduled tribe and Kerala scheduled caste only need to pass their exam in order to appear for CUSAT MBA admission.
Students who have degrees related to distance or open universities apart from IGNOU need to verify their degrees from CUSAT. Also, they need to submit a degree at the time of the Group Discussion and Personal Interview. If they failed to present degrees then their admission will get canceled.
Admission Process of CUSAT CAT 2025
Step 1 – Candidates are required to register for the CUSAT CAT 2025.
Step 2 – Fill out the application form and pay the fee required. In this step select the course you want to enroll in.
Step 3 – Applicant can take the separate entrance exam for MBA admission in CUSAT CAT. Also For admission, the university will take the admission through CAT/CMAT/XAT.
Step 4 – Eligible candidates are called for the Group Discussion and Personal Interview round.
Step 5 – Based on the performance in CUSAT-CAT/CAT/CMAT/KMAT, GD, and PI the final cut-off will be declared.
Step 6 – Students who have their names on the merit list will be called for the further admission process. At this time for securing and confirming admission the student has to pay the admission fee.
Unlike many other MBA courses, the CUSAT MBA does not have any specific entrance exam associated with the admission. The admission process will start immediately after the last date of application. All the aspirants who have applied for the course and are eligible will be called for the further admission process. The admission criteria is based on the scores in specific entrance exams such as CUSAT/CAT/MAT/KAMT, the level of the exam that year, GD and PI score. Each of these has been given a weightage in the final merit list.

Three are three campuses of CUSAT – Campus 1 – Thrikkakara, Kalamassery, Campus 2 – Pulincunnoo, Alappuzha, Campus 3 – Lakeside Campus

University has all the authority to decide the criteria for the normalization of marks of the CAT/CMAT/KMAT exam.
In total 50% of seats are reserved for candidates having 3 or more years of work experience after the graduation degree.
If somehow the seats remain vacant due to eligibility in that case all the candidates with minimum passing marks are eligible for the exam.
Reservation Criteria for the Exam
Candidates belonging to the SC and Muslim community are given an 8% reservation in this exam.
ETB and SBEC candidates are eligible to avail of the reservation of 9% for admission to this university.
LC anglo Indian – 3%, ST, OBC, and Vishwakara have 2% reservations for admission.
